The Baldwin Indoor Track Team competed at the second TSTCA meet at Edinborough this past Saturday.
Senior Jeremiah Simplice said the whole team competed well, with some standout performances.
“I was surprised by Mckinley Beech. I think he did pretty well in the 200,” he said. “The relay team also placed 4th.”
Junior Grace Wyse agrees that the team competed well.
“We had a bunch of standouts like Jeremiah SImplice and Olivia Shellman in the 200, and Molly Gorman and Andrew Barrett in the mile,” she said.
Wyse praises the team for doing well, but sees room for improvement.
“Baldwin did really well overall for it being only our second meet of the season. We still have more meets to improve our times” she said.
Simplice agrees.
“In general, we need to work on our mindset and attitude towards everything to improve,” he said.
