Baldwin’s Rocket League esports team won 4-0 against Carlisle in its first-round playoff game on Monday.

Compared to previous games, senior Mark Migale saw improvement in the team’s passing ability.

“We passed to each other very well,” Migale said.

Senior Dylan Stone credited Migale as one of the team’s leading contributors.

“We all did great as a team, but Mark did the best, stat-wise,” Stone said.

After a week-long hiatus from playing, Baldwin’s shutout victory has raised the team’s confidence.

“It feels great that we had a bye week and then won the first round,” Stone said.

With the momentum of round one, Migale and his teammates have high expectations for the rest of the playoffs.

“I hope the rest of the season goes well. We’ve been doing pretty well so far,” Migale said.
