Baldwin’s esports Valorant team fell to Manheim, a district near Lancaster, on Tuesday.

Freshman Dylan Leonhardt and junior Annan Gurung agreed that the team was not playing to the best of its ability right from the start.

“We were all off and kind of tired, and we didn’t communicate well,” Gurung said.

On the other hand, Manheim had better, cohesive strategies.

“They aimed well. They played smart and didn’t play aggressively,” Leonhardt said.

Despite the loss, the team managed to win a couple of rounds and Leonhardt said junior Rosepun Tiwari remained consistent throughout the games.

The team is currently 2-1, and their next game is against TJ on Nov. 1.
