The boys soccer team won 6-0 against Hempfield on Tuesday night in their senior rec game.

Junior Jonus Ruvolo said many players stepped up their game.

“Sophomore Samir Sanyasi played really well. He had two goals, which were his first ones on varsity,” he said. “Nathaniel McWilliams stepped up to play keeper and had a shutout.”

Junior Anuj Rimal agreed that the team played well.

“We were a bit too confident in the first half, but we honed in on the second half and played a lot better.”

Ruvolo praised senior Brandon Kidd for scoring his first varsity goal. Also scoring for Baldwin were Mikey Fry, Connor Brenneman, and Jonus Ruvolo.

The team’s next game is away on Thursday against Canon-Mac.
