Kid Cudi’s anticipated Entergalactic, released to accompany his Netflix special, is a disappointment.

Entergalactic shows how hard of a decline Cudi’s career has had over the last four years.

The album utilizes dull and overdone themes that Cudi already has been known for. The album offers very little new content from Cudi and shows how desperate he is to grasp onto the same fame he had 10 years ago.

Entergalactic features Ty Dolla $ign, 2 Chainz, Don Toliver, Steve Aoki, and Dot Da Genius.

Each feature lacks effort and feels rushed. The final track, “Burrow,” which features Don Toliver, Steve Aoki, and Dot Da Genius, especially displays Cudi’s ability to somehow ruin an already horrible song.

There are no strong songs on this album, with almost every track being the same corny rehashing of the previous track, offering nothing new whatsoever.

Cudi’s career’s decline has been going on for a while, but Entergalactic has pushed his career over the edge, into irrelevancy.
