Girls soccer fell to Canon-McMillan on Wednesday night, 5-1.

Senior Sam Rorison said the team played well in the first half but lacked in the second.

“We struggled in the second half to play with the same intensity and speed as the first half,” Rorison said. “Our team just needs to improve on consistency from the first to the second half.”

Rorison said the first half shocked Canon-Mac, showing how Baldwin has improved from last year.

Annabelle Herrle and Emma Lieu stood out during the game, she said.

“The best moment was when Emma scored a goal on the free kick to tie the game 1-1 during the first half,” Rorison said.

The girls play next on Monday at home against Mt. Lebanon.
