The boys soccer team fell to Taylor Allderdice, 2-1, on Thursday night.

Junior center back Jake Kunzman said Allerdice scored early in the first half. Junior midfielder Mikey Fry said the Highlanders could improve on starting the game stronger.

“We can definitely pass better in the midfield,” Fry said.

However, in the second half, the Highlanders played more confidently.

“During the second half, we got super aggressive and physical. Even though their team had a lot of good players and depth, they weren’t as physical as us,” Fry said.

Toward the end of the second half, the game became close with a Baldwin goal scored by senior Arjun Damai.

“We were having trouble with how quick they were going, but eventually had them on their heels at the end,” Kunzman said.

The Highlanders’ next game is against Norwin on Tuesday.
