Girls soccer loses to Peters Township
September 8, 2022
The girls soccer team fell 6-0 to Peters Township on Wednesday.
“The team could really improve on staying focused and keeping our energy up the whole game,” senior defenseman Sara Scheeser said.
Baldwin held its own until about halfway through the first half, letting Peters get past for its first goal. In total, three goals were scored in each half.
While the team could improve on focus, there were still strong moments throughout the entire game for Baldwin.
“We did really well clearing the ball out of our end, clearing some of the shots Peters could have taken,” Scheeser said.
“Junior Hailey Nieman also had a great game,” Scheeser said. “She faced a lot of shots as goalie but did a good job holding Peters back.”
The girls will be back on the field Saturday to play Ringold.
