Boys soccer lost 9-2 against Peters Township Tuesday night.

Junior Mikey Fry said the goalkeeper, sophomore Gabe Herrle, and the defense did well, but the offense struggled.

Fry and Connor Brenneman scored the two goals for Baldwin.

Junior Collin Belan said the Highlanders could have improved on playing with more intensity.

“We gave up two goals in the first five minutes, and we just didn’t really match their energy,” Belan said.

Despite the loss, Belan said Fry, Dang Le, and Anuj Rimal played well.

“We started off slow, and then it just went downhill from there,” Fry said. “We definitely needed more confidence going into the game. We already thought we were going to lose.”

The Highlanders’ next game is a home game against Allderdice this Thursday.
