The boys lacrosse team fell to Shaler Township 15-5 on Friday.

Senior Cody Randal said the team failed to hustle.

“We could have hustled better and outrun them, but they outworked us,” Randal said. “We could have also taken better penalties.”

Senior Jake Lubawy and junior Nico DeLallo scored twice and sophomore Charlie Pickell scored once for Baldwin.

Randal said Lubaway and senior Zach Meszaros played particularly well.

“Jake scored and played well and Zach played well at the face-off X,” Randal said.

Randal also praised Pickell and freshman Preston Faight for their strong play.

The team’s final game is against Central Catholic at home at 7:30 p.m.

“A win against Central would be a great way to end the season,” Randal said.
