The boys track team did not advance to WPIAL team championships, but they still performed well at playoffs on Wednesday.

Senior Kevin Weber said that although Baldwin’s team did not go forward, they put in a lot of work and competed well.

“We definitely kept it competitive. We were doing our best,” Weber said.

Weber said Baldwin’s jumpers were a highlight of the team. 

“Our team’s strong suits were jumpers – triple jumpers and long jumpers especially,” Weber said.

Weber said he was happy with his team’s work in the track season as a whole.

“We were able to show competitiveness and prove we’re a force to be reckoned with,” Weber said. “We’re a great, deeply connected team, and I think we’ll be able to shine in the future. Now that the team season’s over, we still have (individual) WPIALs to compete in.”
