Boys tennis defeats Woodland hills

The girls tennis team plays in the fall sports season.

The boys tennis team defeated Woodland Hills on Wednesday, 4-1. 

Juniors David Werner and Nate Philips won their doubles match with scores of 6-2 on the first set and 6-4 on the second set. 

“The team we played against was really fun and really competitive,” junior David Werner said.

Junior Brayden Yokopenic and his brother, freshman Leyton Yokopenic, both won their singles matches 6-0 and 6-1. The other doubles team, juniors Danny Khalil and Owen Garofolo, also won 6-1 and 6-0.

Baldwin’s record improved to 3-6 on the year. 

The next matchup for the boys is Monday at Bethel Park at 3:30 p.m.
