Inline hockey defeats Pine-Richland
February 8, 2022
Junior Matt O’Malley scored four goals to lead the Baldwin Varsity inline hockey team over Pine-Richland 7-4 Sunday night.
Junior Levi McCrea said he was happy with the win and believes the team worked well together.
“We moved the puck pretty well. We were calm and collected in the defensive zone and stayed with assignments nicely,” McCrea said.
The team had a good breakout and forechecked well, shutting down Pine-Richland. Baldwin stayed in the lead with several great saves from sophomore Bryce Scanlon.
Overall, McCrea thought there could have been better communication, but the team was able to take the win.
“Everyone was happy. Everything was going really well in the game,” McCrea said.
