Hawkeye is a well written adventure and crime series. It is based on the superhero Hawkeye, played by Jeremy Renner, from Marvel Comics, and focuses on the adventures of Kate Bishop, played by Hailee Steinfeld.

The show takes place after the events of the movie Avengers: Endgame. In the show, Clint Barton, also known as Hawkeye, meets Kate Bishop, a young archer with dreams of becoming a superhero. After meeting, they become involved in a murder mystery, have to deal with a large mob, and encounter a much bigger threat.

The show allows the Marvel Cinematic Universe to expand and continue. The acting is nicely executed throughout the show because Renner and Steinfeld work well together with their chemistry and humor.

Many viewers feel as though the show is difficult to keep up with without proper knowledge about the MCU. Some also dislike the cliffhangers caused by the weekly releases. However, the suspense, humor, acting, and character development in the show make up for it.

Fans of prior Marvel Studios productions should watch the Hawkeye series.
