Everyone has those boring days where they can’t find anything to watch. One solution is to binge The Originals, which is a prequel to The Vampire Diaries, a show loved by many. 

The Originals came out in 2018 and gathered a large fandom. The show has had so many people watch it that the directors created a sequel, Legacies, which is based on the future of The Vampire Diaries.

The Originals is a must watch for those who love witches, werewolves, and vampires. It will captivate viewers and lead them into another world. 

The series follows Klaus Mikaelson, the first vampire/werewolf hybrid, on his journey back to his hometown in New Orleans. Klaus returns to find the source of rumors against him. He reunites with siblings Elijah and Rebekah, and learns that the mother of his child, Haley, who is a werewolf, is being held in New Orleans by a clan of witches. 

The directors of the show are well known for creating drama at every turn of the show, with the most dramatic part being when a child holds the power of a witch, vampire, and werewolf. This show will always keep viewers wanting more, and when it ends, there are two more series based off of it. 

It is a story that may come to an end one day. But there will always be viewers who become obsessed with the show and its characters.
