The boys soccer team lost 1-0 to Mount Lebanon on Thursday.

Baldwin kept the game close all the way until the final 10 minutes, when the team gave up the only goal of the game. Sophomore Mikey Fry said the Highlanders left everything out on the field and played their best game of the year.

“The game was a lot closer than the last time we played them, so we can tell we are improving,” Fry said. “We had multiple chances to score but didn’t capitalize on them. Cole Thomas had our closest chance to score in the game.”

Despite the strong game, Baldwin could have been improved in some areas, he said.

“I think we could have been positioned better throughout the game,” Fry said

The team looks to build on the strong performance at an away game Saturday at 2:30 p.m. against Upper Saint Clair.
