A little over 25 years ago, Dave Matthews Band released Crash, their third album overall and second studio album. It still holds up to this day.

This album showcases the band’s instrumental talents and features various upbeat songs such as “Two Much,” which offers some funk.

“So Much to Say” is an interesting take on how people who have a lot to say often say things that aren’t really meaningful.

“Tripping Billies,” which has a sort of hippie vibe, urges people to capture the moment and live life to the fullest. The song “#41” is a saxophone-fueled reminder of how things change over time.

In both of these tracks, Boyd Tinsley makes his signature mark with a violin. This is a prime example of how effective he is to the band’s compositions.

Other notable tracks are “Two Step,” which has a guitar-driven intro that sets an energetic mood, and “Crash Into Me,” a song that displays a boyhood innocence about love.

Crash was the best-selling and most successful album of the band’s career, as well as their greatest studio album to date.

Ultimately, it offers a good listen for those who want to experience the hits of the past.
