Netflix’s Stowaway has just the right amount of suspense to keep viewers watching.

Sara Scheeser, Staff Writer

In the Netflix movie Stowaway, viewers are left in suspense as a three-person crew on a mission to Mars deals with an unexpected situation.

The movie follows Zoe Levenson (Anna Kendrick), Marina Barnett (Toni Collette), and David Kim (Daniel Dae Kim) as they have to make terribly hard decisions when an unplanned passenger, Micheal Adams (Shamier Anderson), is found on board their spaceship.

The movie includes suspenseful, dramatic, and comedic moments.

The ship they are on only has enough oxygen for three crew members, but when they try to come up with solutions, all of their lives are put in jeopardy. Each crew member is forced to deal with different difficulties, but each one does everything they can to save the others.

The actors all do a great job of portraying and channeling a discouraged and stressed crew.

The music in the film also adds another layer of suspense to the movie. As the crew works out different possible solutions, the music gets louder and softer, leaving the audience in suspense.

Beyond the music, the overall sound of the movie is quiet sometimes, and loud at other times. This also adds more suspense to it.

The film could be hard to follow if viewers are not paying attention, so it should not be a movie that is just playing in the background.

Overall, Stowaway contains enough action and suspense to keep viewers interested the whole time.
