Baseball falls to Lebo
April 27, 2021
Baldwin baseball lost to Mt. Lebanon on Monday, 6-3.
“We made a lot of mistakes all around,” senior Connor Lavelle said.
The team had trouble efficiently hitting the ball and made multiple errors throughout the game, Lavell said.
“We are pretty low on pitching, and minor injuries on the team have been limiting us,” Lavelle said.
Two of the team’s regular pitchers, sophomore Carson Chapel and junior Jon Rauch, are not able to pitch due to injury.
Sophomore Dylan Wyse was a standout for the Highlanders, going three for four with two singles and a homerun.
This loss brings the team to 3-5 in the section.
The boys hope to have better fortune against Mt. Lebo today at 4 p.m. at Wallace.
