Not every movie is worth watching a second time

Action movies most often are not as enjoyable the second time because, again, the viewer would already know what happens. However, if it is part of a series, like the movie Avengers, it can be fun to rewatch.

Many movies tend to get old and less enjoyable the more times they are viewed, although there are few exceptions to this.

Movies that include suspense, like horror movies, certainly are not as enjoyable the second time around. Viewers already know exactly what will happen, which takes the thrill away.

Comedies are another type of film that is not as enjoyable to watch for the second and third time. Since the viewer has already heard all the jokes, it may not be as comedic as it was the first time.

So what makes a movie worthy to watch more than once? If there is more to the movie than jokes, and if there is a good plot to go along with the movie, it might be fun to watch again.

It is also fun to watch seasonal movies multiple times. Since fans only watch seasonal movies at a certain time of year, it can be fun due to tradition.

Another exception is for movies that the viewer simply has not seen in a long time. The viewer’s memory of the plots and jokes would not be as strong, making it acceptable to watch again.

One movie that could apply would be the comedy, Grown Ups, because it has a lot of plot, and still retains the aspects of strong comedy as well.

So go enjoy some of your favorite movies again — but remember to enjoy new ones as well.
