Adventure Time is a show most remember as just a wacky Cartoon Network series from their childhood, one that might be watched today for some laughs and nostalgia but nothing more. 

But watching Adventure Time from beginning to end, all 10 seasons, is a totally different experience. 

Adventure Time follows a boy named Finn and his talking magic dog, Jake, through the land of Ooo as they go on different journeys and fight monsters. 

The more the series progresses, the more it reveals itself as a show with more going on than viewers might expect. It follows many deeper story arcs and character backstories, and it develops into so much more than it originally appears to be. 

While it still is silly and different than most television shows watched by high schoolers today, it gives the audience a unique experience of growing up with these fictional cartoon characters. And then the ending is heartbreaking and perfectly done.

All 10 seasons of Adventure Time can be found on Hulu. It’s not a quick watch, but it is something that can be watched throughout a long period of time in between other shows.
