Netflix originals are always hit-or-miss. I Am Not Okay With This is a hit. 

The show follows 17-year old Syd, who thinks she is “a boring teenage white girl.” But Syd soon discovers that she actually has a sort of superpower that she can control with her anger. 

I Am Not Okay With This puts a spin on the usual coming-of-age drama. Syd is forced to not only figure out her way through the pursuits of high school, the suicide of her father, and her sexuality, but also the supernatural forces that she has been gifted with. 

While the show explores some darker topics, it also has a lighthearted, comedic feel to it. 

I Am Not Okay With This has an element for everyone, from fans of  whether you enjoy romance, drama, or eve science fiction.
