The World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh is bringing three experts on world religions to the LGI next week for a panel discussion and video conference.
Leaders from Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and Christianity will be discussing the impact of religion and the place that these religions have in the modern world during second and third periods on next Wednesday.
“The conference will connect the ancient texts of religions to the modern period,” ESL teacher Katherine Musselman said. “It gives a new perspective into other cultures and religions”.
The conference will be moderated by Reverend Dr. Randy Bush of the East Liberty Presbyterian church and will start at 8:30 a.m. Students from ESL and social studies classes will attend the program.
