Baldwin rolled to a big victory over Canon MacMillan on Monday night by a score of 61-31.

The Highlanders started a little slowly, but then poured it on. Sophomore Morgan Altavilla applauded the team’s comeback.

“We didn’t start off as strong as we should have, but once a minute passed by we snapped into our normal selves.”

Around the second quarter of the game, Baldwin started pulling ahead.

Junior Lexi Bernatos finished with 11 points and played a really good game, Altavilla said.

Altavilla was happy with the team’s overall performance.

“We played very hard, and we were playing tough throughout the entire game,” Altavilla said. “We have such a high rate of enthusiasm, so we need to keep that up.”

There are things that need to be improved, however.

“We need to get our communication up and need to start talking more.” Altavilla said.

The team is getting ready for the game against Connellsville Thursday.
