Boys tennis suffers tough loss
April 2, 2019
The boys varsity tennis team was shutout in its match against Mt. Lebanon on Monday.
“Mt. Lebanon is a hard team to beat,” sophomore Hunter Koslowski said. “They’re at the top of our section.”
Three seniors from the Baldwin team graduated last year, leaving holes that this year’s team is still working on.
“We can only fill so many holes each year,” Koslowski said. “It’s definitely taking a toll on us.”
The team has various things to improve on.
“There are a lot of little things we have to work on,” Koslowski said, “We need to do better with ground strokes and keeping a positive mentality during matches.”
Koslowski said senior Tommy Ahlin and junior Remy Davic are the team’s key players.
“They’re really working hard to help out the team, but there’s only so much we can do,” he said.
