As much as the general public loves to gush about romantic films, there is a common stigma that these movies are unrealistic and just make viewers upset with the normality of their own daily lives.

Those are the thoughts that Natalie (Rebel Wilson) has on the topic as she goes through her monotonous life as an architect, feeling invisible, in Isn’t It Romantic.

But then she hits her head and wakes up stuck inside a romantic comedy. She soon discovers that to be able to return to her life and bring an end to the movie she is trapped in, she has to fall in love.

What starts off as a seemingly cheesy romantic comedy may surprise viewers with its strong theme that people need to love themselves before they love anyone else.

Audience members might walk into the theater wondering if the film would be filled with cringey humor, but it truly elicits genuine laughter with every joke.
