Ice hockey falls to Hempfield
February 5, 2019
The Baldwin ice hockey team lost to Hempfield Monday night, 4-1.
The team struggled offensively, with the only tally coming from sophomore forward Dylan Belak.
“We were getting pucks deep,” junior forward Justin Pollard said. “Overall we played a pretty good game but couldn’t finish.”
Pollard thinks improvements can be made in practice.
“We’ve got to get to practice and work on finishing plays so we can score more,” Pollard said.
Baldwin remains in the playoff race, holding onto the fifth seed. The team will have its senior rec night on Monday against Upper St. Clair.
