The boys and girls swim teams both came up just short on Thursday, falling to Peters Township.

The match went into extra time, where the refs determined the winner.

Overall, the team started out the meet strong, senior Katelyn Meyer said.

“Corey Geyer did really well with the 300, along with a few other swimmers,” Meyer said.

The team is disappointed with the loss, but stays hopeful for the upcoming meets, she said.

The swim team’s next meet is Jan. 8 at home against Elizabeth Forward.
