The boys ice hockey team picked up a big 5-2 win over Shaler on Tuesday night.

Paul Zmuda, Zach Pender, Justin Pollard, Keith Reed, and Jason Kavolic all put the puck in the net for Baldwin.

Senior Cameron Greenaway said sophomore Robbie Aranos had a really strong game and also “got the sword.” The team gives out a replica “sword” to whoever played the best in each game.

“He had a strong game on defense, and he also stayed out of the box,” Greenaway said.

Greenaway also said the Highlanders did a good job of getting the puck to the net because they had 51 shots on goal.

The team’s record is now 4-6-1. They are playing a tournament over Christmas in Harmarville.
