The Baldwin girls volleyball team continued its dominant streak Tuesday night by beating Oakland Catholic.

The team is off to a 9-0 start in the section, and have a strong hold on their section lead.

“We have just gotten used to winning over the years,” senior Kerri Herron said. “It has just become our mindset and our expectation.”

Senior Flannery Larson helped the team throughout the night.

“Flannery had a ton of blocks for us, and it really made it easier to pass all game,” senior Mackenzie Meis said.

The team’s next game is on Thursday night at home against Upper Saint Clair, and it is their annual Dig Pink game, raising funds and awareness to fight breast cancer.

“Our Dig Pink game is one of our biggest games of the year, and we always take it as a must-win game,” Meis said.
