Baldwin football improved to a 4-2 record on Friday, defeating Chartiers Valley 21-14.

Senior wide receiver Dre Howell said the game went very smoothly for the Highlanders.

Baldwin got two touchdowns from junior wide receiver Jarren Kelly and a late rushing touchdown from junior quarterback Mason Stahl.

“They led both on the field and on the sideline by keeping the team going and motivated throughout the entire game,” Howell said about Stahl and Kelly.

Looking forward, the team plays West Allegheny on Friday for Baldwin’s homecoming game.

Howell said the Highlanders are hoping to shut down West Allegheny’s running plays to force them to throw the ball.
