After going viral with her single “Pretty Girl”, singer-songwriter, Clairo, has not disappointed listeners with her newly released EP, Diary 001.

With singles like, “Flaming Hot Cheetos”, “4EVER,” and “Pretty Girl,” Clairo’s 6-song EP includes viral hits and new favorites. With features from Rejjjie Snow and Danny L Harle, the new songs on the EP have potential to gain just as much notice as her other singles.

The EP continues her lo-fi, dream-pop aesthetic with mellow music alternating between keyboards and guitar and a smooth voice that completes the overall indie artist.

Probably the most lo-fi hip-hop, dream-pop, “How (demo),” reflects upon her hardships in a past relationship, while “Flaming Hot Cheetos” tells a story about confusing feelings in her relationship in the moment.

With an EP that completes a story of a college student’s life and experiences, it makes sense to title it Diary 001, because when listening it certainly feels like the listener is gaining a glimpse into Clairo’s personal diary of her feelings of relationships and life.

Fans of Steve Lacy, Zack Villere, and Rex Orange County would not be disappointed in Diary 001.
