Boys lacrosse loses to Penn-Trafford
May 8, 2018
The boys lacrosse team fell to Penn-Trafford on the road on Monday night with a final score of 14-2.
Scoring for Baldwin were sophomores Zach Pettit and Jason Kavulic. Senior Tony Mendez played well, Kavulic said.
“He got a lot of shots off and he controlled the ball well,” Kavulic said.
The Highlanders got of to a slow start, however.
“We didn’t play well in the first half, which hurt us for the rest of the game,” Kavulic said.
The team has seen some improvement throughout the season overall.
“We improved a little bit from the start of the season to now, but we definitely still have room for improvement for these last two games,” Kavulic said.
The team plays Mount Lebanon today and Plum on Thursday, both at home.
