April 12, 2018
The girls softball team lost 5-4 to Peters Township on Wednesday night.
“The defense was a bit shaky,” sophomore Cassie Carlson said.
Peters scored a run in the last inning to win the game.
Despite the loss, a couple of players on Baldwin stood out. Carly Santillo hit a home run, and Allison Murray batted 2 for 2.
This loss makes the team 1-2 overall and 1-1 in section play. The team’s next game is Thursday against Mt. Lebanon.
“We’re usually pretty good against Lebo, so hopefully we can win,” Carlson said.
