The baseball team had a tough day against Upper Saint Clair on Thursday, losing 12-2.

“It was pretty bad. It felt awful,” sophomore Bryce Chapla said.

Seniors Trey Luffy and Jordan Rush were two players with a solid game for Baldwin.

“Trey had an RBI, and Jordan had a nice play in the field,” Chapla said.

However, pitching was a weakness for the Highlanders. Four different pitchers played throughout the course of the game.

“We need to pitch a lot better. There were too many walks,” Chapla said.

Baldwin’s next game is tonight against Seneca Valley.

“It’s going to be a tougher game,” Chapla said.
