The boys tennis team lost in an away match to Central Catholic on Thursday, 4-1.

The doubles team of senior Nick Regel and freshman Hunter Kozlowski earned the Highlanders’ one win.

“We have a lot of young guys who are improving, but Central had some really good experienced players at the singles spots, which gave us trouble,” Regel said.

Overall, team members need to be more consistent with their serves, Regel said. With a young team there is always a desire to improve and get better, and that’s exactly what the team looks to do in their next match.

The Highlanders are now 0-2 overall and they will be looking to change their luck tonight in their home match against Shaler.
