The boys tennis team lost to Shadyside on Tuesday, 5-0.

The Highlanders just never seemed to get enough momentum to walk away with a victory.

“That team was just really good and we were not scoring enough,” sophomore Remmy Davic said.

Among the strong performers for Baldwin were senior Chad Kelley and sophomore Daniel Mezhinsky, who nearly walked away with a doubles victory. Davic also showed some good play of his own, playing fairly well against one of Shadyside’s best players.

The next game is on Thursday against Shaler, where the team hopes to rebound with a win.
