Most recently, talk about the newest video game craze, Fortnite Battle Royale, has been sweeping all social medias.

Fortnite is a free survival action game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows, and Mac. It is a cartoon-like game where players jump out of a plane onto an island and fight each other until there is only one left.

Players have the ability to team up with a single friend as a duo or a group of their friends as a squad. Participants are able to chat through headsets and microphones, which adds to the fun of the game.

Anyone who is an avid Instagram, Twitter or Snapchat user is aware of the game even if they don’t play it themselves, due to the constant talk about the popular game.

Fans of the Fortnite will often take pictures of their “victories” and put them on their Snapchat stories for everyone to see. It has become very common to come across at least one of these pictures a day.

Regular Twitter users will also find themselves viewing many memes that revolve around Fortnite as well. Players also will tweet about their obsession with the game and the endless hours they have spent playing the game.

It has also become popular for Fortnite fanatics to watch videos on YouTube of other players’ victories.

While the game appeals more to males, there are some female gamers as well.

Since the game has become such a big hit, there is now a mobile version for phones as well.

Players now have the ability to feed their Fortnite “addiction” whenever they please.
