Moose Blood’s new album sinks band to mediocrity

Moose Blood, a punk band from England, has unfortunately digressed to a bland mainstream form of pop punk.

Moose Blood has slowly diluted its sound with its new album, I Don’t Think I Can Do This Anymore. This new album shows that the band is trying to get a slot to play on the Warped Tour, Riot Fest or the Self Help Fest.

The album overall is repetitive and shows no originality. Those who don’t listen to any punk or pop punk perhaps would disagree. But Moose Blood has the same topic in every song and the same kind of sound that has existed since the ’90s.

It’s understandable for a band to want to play on huge tours for name recognition, but Moose Blood has been around for about six years and has a large enough crowd to play at Stage AE. So there is really no reason for the band to dilute its music so much that it sounds like a knockoff of some other mainstream pop punk band like Neck Deep.
