Baldwin’s ice hockey team had a disappointing loss Monday night to Montour, which came away with its first win of the season.

The final score was 5-3, putting Baldwin’s record at 4-5 for the season.

“We couldn’t get in their zone and couldn’t get any shots on their goalie” senior Nick Antonio said.

Despite the loss, senior defender Easton Tamburri played well, especially late in the game, Antonio said. Tamburri scored toward the end of the game, giving Baldwin a temporary lead.

For future games, the team plans to improve their motivation and offense. Antonio said they want to “motivate the younger kids, get them to step up their game.”

The team plays its next game on Monday against Pine-Richland.
