The Baldwin Hokey team took a tough loss Thursday night against a one-loss Armstrong team.

The final score was 3-1 with the only Highlander goal coming from senior captain Nick Antonio.

“Nick always plays well in big games like this one. We just couldn’t pull out the win,” sophomore Vinny Episcopo said.

Other standouts during the game included senior Dan Figura and junior Ross Zofcin, with junior Cole Shannon providing solid play in net.

“Dan and Ross are good leaders on the team and encouraged us to keep going when we were down,” Episcopo said. “Cole also played well and kept us in the game.”

The Highlanders’ next game is against a winless Montour team on the road Monday night. The team sees this as a good opportunity to bounce back.

“We need to have a good practice and be focused to bounce back,” sophomore Justin Pollard said.
