After junior running back Dorian Brown’s outstanding performance last Friday night against Thomas Jefferson, there was no doubt that he would get recognition. It isn’t often that a high school tailback racks up 278 yards on 34 carries (not to mention two touchdowns, including a game-winning 80-yarder with under two minutes to play.)
On Wednesday, senior WPXI anchor John Fedko came on Highlander ground to award Brown with the news outlet’s Player of the Week award. The Purbalite was there.
