Football team looking to carry momentum from big Homecoming win
October 10, 2017
The football team hopes to carry momentum from its big 49-0 Homecoming victory over Connellsville into this Friday’s game against Fox Chapel.
“We came out with more confidence than we have in the past few games,” Junior Lucas Perfetti said of last Friday’s win over Connellsville.
Leading the Highlander offense was sophomore running back Angelo Priore, who scored three touchdowns.
The defense, meanwhile, forced turnovers and registered a shutout.
Perfetti said Connellsville was not their toughest opponent, but it helped the team gain confidence for Friday.
The team is looking for another big win in that away game against Fox Chapel, he said.
