The girls volleyball team is riding a hot streak to start the year as they are undefeated and coming off a non-section win over West Allegheny on Monday.

The Highlanders defeated West Allegheny 3-1 in sets.

Sophomore, Mia Hampsay was proud and excited for the future of the Highlanders as they continue to build momentum going into more section play.

“We are feeling good right now. We have to just keep winning,” Hampsay said.

Key performers on Monday  included standout sophomore Allison Murray as she continues to build on an impressive year, Hampsay said.

The Highlanders are back in section play on Thursday night as they take on Moon.
