Continuing a successful season the girls slow-pitch softball team is now 7-1 after two wins against Mount Pleasant on Sunday. The girls won the first game 10-8 and the second game 8-5.
Junior Georgia Berk hit a grand slam on Sunday.
“It really boosted our confidence and kept up our game,” senior Haley Maglin said.
“This year we have been hitting very well and our defense has been very solid,” Maglin said.
The team has pulled together this year and is working very well together.
“We are always behind each other, and even if someone makes a mistake we band together to recover from it,” Maglin said.
