The boys volleyball team fell to Canon-Mac 3-1 on Thursday, making their path to the playoffs more difficult.

The match started well, with Baldwin coming back from a six-point deficit to win 25-23.

“We don’t give up once we can see our goal,” junior Luke Scherz said.

However, the Highlanders lost the next three games by scores of 25-19, 25-17, and 25-18.

“We lost the momentum,” Scherz said. “But we won’t make those same mistakes.”

The team has two important games next week for their drive toward playoffs. Baldwin plays Moon on Tuesday.

“I’m very confident for that game,” Scherz said.

Then next Thursday they play Upper St. Clair, a team that Baldwin beat earlier in the season.
