Halloween dance tickets will be sold starting this Thursday during lunch periods. Tickets are $10, or $5 with two canned goods.
The canned goods will be donated to the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank since “one of Student Council’s goals is to assist community members that are in need,” Student Council Co-Sponsor Steve Sinning said.
The dance is open to all grade levels. Half of the proceeds will benefit the senior class.
The event will be split between the school’s two atriums, with one atrium housing dancing and a DJ, and the other hosting games and festive activities.
“We were really excited to have the dance at the school because all the kids’ dances are formal, so it gives the kids who don’t attend the formal a chance to participate,” said Kathryn Jarocki, the other student council co-sponsor.
Every student is encouraged to come in costume since there will be costume contests for couples, individual girls, individual boys, and groups. In addition, mention Baldwin’s Halloween Dance at Party City and they will provide a discount on any costume or accessory.
