Throughout the years, songs by Queen have been used in many movies, such as Ella Enchanted, Chicken Little, Happy Feet and many others.
Now, though, Queen’s songs are in a movie completely based around them and their story, specifically the story of the band’s lead singer, Freddie Mercury. Bohemian Rhapsody follows Mercury’s time in Queen, from how he became affiliated with the other members of the band, to his time as a solo artist, and even the beginnings of his battle with AIDS.
The film includes the stories behind the creation of numerous songs, including the movie’s namesake, “Bohemian Rhapsody.” These songs really add to the overall feel of the film.
Throughout the movie, the audience experiences sorrow, loneliness, and a sense of family along with the band members.
Bohemian Rhapsody has amazing visuals, such as when the camera zooms over a giant crowd of fans. In that moment, viewers feel as though they are at that concert in that sea of excitement.
Overall, the movie depicts details of the lives of legends that the public had never known before.
