Super Bowl 52 delivered arguably one of the best in recent memory in a rematch of Super Bowl 34.

The branded David vs. Goliath story did not disappoint with David again coming out on top.

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New England Patriots 41-33 for Philadelphia’s first Super Bowl victory in team history and first championship for the team since 1960.

Eagles quarterback Nick Foles surprised many by outplaying Patriots star QB Tom Brady when it mattered most.

It is especially surprising because Tom Brady was named NFL MVP the night before. This is the 3rd time in as many years that the NFL MVP has lost the Super Bowl in the same year as Brady joins Cam Newton and Matt Ryan respectively.

This first Super Bowl for Philadelphia vastly compares to New England’s.

During the 2001 season, Patriots starting QB Drew Bledsoe went down with an injury during the regular season and was replaced by Brady, who lead them to the win.

Foles did the exact same thing with Starter Carson Wentz tearing his ACL, he stepped in and delivered when no one gave him a chance.

Both quarterbacks defeated guys that previously won a Super Bowl.

An interesting story to keep an eye on is what will happen between the two Eagles quarterbacks. It is likely that Foles is traded and Wentz regains the starting job when healthy.

This Super Bowl loss is very critical to the future of the Patriots.

Brady is 40 years old and on the back nine of his career, coach Bill Belichick has been coaching for a very long time and Rob Gronkowski mentioned pondering retirement.

It is especially compelling after a reported rift between Brady, Belichick, and owner Robert Kraft surfaced before the AFC Divisional.

The three will meet this week to discuss the future of the team which will certainly be worth watching.

Philadelphia is having the time of their lives at the moment as fans have celebrated by flipping cars, setting fires, and jumping off poles. The Philly PD, PA State Police, SWAT, Riot, and Marine Units have all been called to the city while Homeland Security and the National Guard might not be far behind. Fun times in Philadelphia.

The game exceed the hype and proved to everyone that this Eagles team is special.

Many questions still remain in the NFL including: What’s next for New England? Where will Foles go? How will the draft play out? And most especially, What is a catch!?

Nevertheless we can all agree to one thing, the Super Bowl never disappoints.
