To help with the new 1:1 Chromebook initiative, the IT Department is creating a student help desk team.  Help desk members will help other students with basic-level support for their Chromebooks as well as provide technical assistance and training to both students and staff members.

“We are looking for students to repair Chromebooks, and possibly work on other intern projects such as projectors or lab equipment,” computer technician Adam Nuhfer said.

There is no experience required, just a general interest in the program.

Help desk team members would receive training in school, and assist during their free class periods.

Working the student help desk would also count towards National Honors Society hours and projects.

So far, seven students have applied, and applications are still being taken.
